We are thrilled to announce that the AshaKiran Foundation’s A Ray of Hope Festival will be held at The Orion on Sunday, November 3rd!

From 1PM to 4PM, we invite you to join us for an afternoon of vibrant celebration honoring the rich tapestry of cultural diversity that makes our community so unique. Through the universal languages of song and dance, we’ll come together to create an unforgettable experience that showcases the beauty of our multi-cultural society. Enjoy performances from local chapters of international dance & performance groups while exploring a diverse array of food and beverage offerings, including authentic Mexican street food from Tacos Pow Pow, traditional dishes of the Philippines and Hong Kong from Pacific Pearl, and a modern take on Indian cuisine from The Curry.

This free, family-friendly annual fundraising event is more than just a celebration – it’s a powerful initiative that supports AshaKiran’s crucial mission. AshaKiran is dedicated to addressing critical issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, with a particular focus on foreign-born and other underserved communities who often face additional barriers in seeking help. AshaKiran also provides invaluable education to enhance the understanding of cultural barriers. By attending this event, you’re not just in for an afternoon of entertainment and cultural enrichment. You’re also contributing to creating a safer, more informed, and more passionate community.
